Whole blood, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL)
Whole blood is used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system (whose main function is defense in the immune system). Patient samples can be used by researchers to investigate biomarker and diagnostic development, pre-clinical research validation, and drug toxicity and efficacy. Collected from IRB-consented donors diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL).

No pre-screening is done on fresh products, but donors are tested on day of collection for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, HIV-1/HCV/HBV nucleic acid, WNV nucleic acid, Trypanasoma cruzi and Syphilis.

Storage: Use immediately upon receipt.
