In this context, Omega Bio-tek has developed a highly versatile Mag-BIND® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit for rapid and reliable isolation of high quality genomic DNA from plants and other tissues that are particularly difficult to lyse

These kits use the well-established properties of the cationic detergent, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in conjunction with our magnetic bead technology to extract high quality DNA eliminating PCR inhibitors. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, restriction enzyme digestion, next-generation sequencing, and hybridization applications. The Mag-BIND® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit is compatible with multiple liquid handlers and magnetic processors, such as Hamilton STAR/STARlet/Firefly NIMBUS, KingFisher Flex, Qiage Biosprint, Applied Biosystems/Ambion Magmax 96, and Beckman Coulter Biomek FX/NX.
